About Core Axis

Clinical Expertise. Genuine Compassion. A Commitment to Better Lives.

At CoreAxis Clinical & Behavioural Support Services, we believe quality care begins with understanding people, respecting their individuality and recognising their potential.

We are a multidisciplinary NDIS-registered provider delivering Positive Behaviour Support, clinical intervention and allied health services to individuals living with disability.

Our purpose is to combine professional clinical expertise with meaningful human connection, helping individuals build independence, strengthen their capabilities and participate more fully in everyday life.

WHO WE ARE

Bringing Clinical Excellence and Human Connection Together.

CoreAxis was established in 2020 in response to an important need within the disability support sector: the need for services that combine robust clinical methodologies with genuine understanding and compassion.

Since our establishment, we have developed a multidisciplinary service model that brings together behaviour support practitioners, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and other allied health professionals.

We recognise that every individual has a unique story, different circumstances and personal aspirations. For this reason, our approach goes beyond diagnosis or clinical presentation.

Our work is guided by the belief that meaningful support should empower people, protect their dignity and create opportunities for positive change.

OUR MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM

Different Expertise. One Shared Purpose.

Effective support often requires more than one professional perspective. Our multidisciplinary workforce brings together clinical and allied health expertise to address different aspects of an individual’s needs.

OUR CORE VALUES

The Principles Behind Everything We Do.

Person-Centred Support

Every individual has different goals, abilities and preferences. We tailor our services to the person rather than expecting the person to fit a standard model of care.

Positive and Proactive Strategies

We focus on developing communication, life skills and supportive environments rather than relying on reactive approaches

Family and Support Network Collaboration

We work alongside families, carers and support workers to encourage consistent implementation and sustainable outcomes.

Evidence-Based Clinical Practice

We draw upon established clinical frameworks and assessment methodologies to guide our decisions and interventions.

Least Restrictive Practice

We are committed to reducing and eliminating restrictive practices wherever possible, while prioritising safety, dignity and individual rights.

OUR VISION

A World Where Every Individual Can Reach Their Full Potential.

We envision a world where every individual living with disability experiences dignity, autonomy and the freedom to pursue their goals and aspirations.

We strive to contribute to a more inclusive society where people receive compassionate, evidence-based clinical care and have opportunities to participate meaningfully in their communities.

OUR MISSION

Making Meaningful Change Possible Through Better Support.

Our mission is to deliver outstanding clinical and behavioural support services that are person-centred, evidence-based and grounded in genuine respect for individual goals, preferences and cultural identity.

We are committed to:

  • Reducing and eliminating behaviours of concern through functional and humane strategies.
  • Reducing and eliminating restrictive practices wherever possible.
  • Building the capacity of families, carers and support workers.
  • Delivering clinically rigorous and compassionate services.
  • Promoting independence, participation and quality of life.

Creating positive and sustainable outcomes for the people we support.

QUALITY, SAFETY & PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Your Wellbeing Is Our Priority.

We are committed to delivering services that are safe, ethical, accountable and responsive to individual needs.

Our quality framework incorporates:

  • Clinical supervision and professional development.
  • Regular clinical audits and reviews.
  • Participant and family feedback.
  • Outcome measurement and progress monitoring.
  • Incident management and risk assessment.
  • Safeguarding and participant rights.
  • Privacy and confidentiality practices.

As an NDIS-registered provider, our services are delivered with reference to applicable NDIS requirements, practice standards and professional obligations.

We believe quality is not a one-time achievement. It is an ongoing commitment reflected in every aspect of our service delivery.

CULTURAL SAFETY & INCLUSION

Respecting Every Individual and Every Background.

We recognise the importance of culture, identity, language, family and community in shaping an individual’s experiences and support needs.

CoreAxis is committed to providing culturally safe and inclusive services that respect individual backgrounds and lived experiences.

We seek to incorporate cultural considerations into assessments and support planning, engage interpreters or cultural liaisons when required, and recognise the importance of family and kinship systems.

We also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we operate and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

Supporting Better Outcomes, One Individual at a Time.

We believe every individual deserves to be heard, understood and supported.

At CoreAxis, our commitment extends beyond providing clinical services. We aim to strengthen capabilities, empower families, support professionals and create opportunities for meaningful participation.

Together, we work towards a future where individuals can live with greater confidence, independence and dignity.
